Parking area (Otopark)

Definition
An open or covered area set aside for parking vehicles; in Turkish sites usually a common area, sometimes an annex attached to an independent unit.
The Parking Regulation requires new buildings to provide parking according to their type of use and size. In terms of condominium ownership, parking is either a common area (used by everyone) or allocated on the title deed to a specific independent unit as an annex.
Matters such as the allocation of spaces in a shared car park, guest parking, second vehicles and electric vehicle charging units are regulated by the management plan and assembly decisions. Assigning a parking space that is not an annex on the title deed to a unit is an arrangement concerning the use of a common area.
