Visitor log
Also known as: guest log, visitor book, guest registration
Definition
Recording when guests, couriers and service staff enter and leave a site, and on whose behalf they come.
The visitor log is the basis of security: the gate staff know who is expected, call the unit for an unexpected visitor and record entry and exit times. A resident announcing their guest in advance shortens the wait at the gate.
Information such as a visitor's name, license plate or phone number is personal data; only what is necessary should be collected, it should be deleted after being kept for a certain period, and visitors should be informed.
In CasaX
In CasaX, residents register their guest in advance and share a QR code or a 6-digit code; staff process entry and exit from their phone, and the resident receives a notification.
