Definition
A notice from the management to residents about a meeting, an outage, maintenance, a rule change or a debt reminder.
Announcements used to be pinned on the noticeboard by the elevator; today they are sent by app notification, SMS and email. Targeting the right audience (a specific block, owners only or tenants only) reduces unnecessary notifications; read receipts show who has been informed.
For actions that require legal notification (e.g. calling an owners' assembly meeting), a digital announcement does not replace the notification procedure in the law; it supplements it. Messages that qualify as commercial electronic messages must comply with the relevant consent rules.
In CasaX
In CasaX, announcements are targeted at a block, owners or tenants; they go out by app notification, SMS and email, can be scheduled, and a read report is kept. SMS messages are sent from the organization's own Netgsm account.
