In Turkish collective building complexes, the board made up of representatives elected by each main property's owners' assembly that runs the joint management.
In a collective building complex, the owners' assembly of each main property (block or parcel) elects a representative from among its members; these representatives form the complex's board of representatives. The board decides on matters concerning the complex's common areas and facilities, and elects the complex's manager and auditor.
Some important matters are reserved by law to the complex's owners' assembly, in which all unit owners take part. The representative is the bridge that carries their own block's decisions to the board of representatives.
