Budget
Also known as: supplementary budget, annual budget, bütçe
Definition
A plan of the common income and expenses expected for a period; in site management, it is the basis of the operating budget plan and of the dues amount.
A site budget estimates items such as staff, energy, maintenance and repair, insurance, cleaning, landscaping and management costs based on the actual amounts of past years and expected price increases. Once approved by the owners' assembly, the budget becomes the operating budget plan.
For an expense not foreseen during the year (e.g. a roof repair), a decision may be taken for a supplementary budget or for using the reserve fund. Regularly comparing actual expenses with the budget prevents surprises at year-end.
In CasaX
In CasaX you can enter the total budget and choose a distribution method to generate the monthly dues; a supplementary budget is charged as a separate item. The income and expense statement and the category-based expense report let you track actual figures.
