Common area booking
Also known as: reservation, amenity booking, pool booking, facility booking
Definition
Residents reserving common areas such as the pool, meeting room or sports area for specific time slots.
A booking system ensures fair use of common areas: opening hours, session length, capacity and how many times a week a unit can book are set in advance, and overlapping bookings are not accepted.
For paid areas (e.g. a meeting room), posting the fee to the unit's account as a debt makes collection easier. Setting the rules by assembly decision or in the management plan reduces objections.
In CasaX
In CasaX, residents see the available slots in the app and make bookings; areas that require approval are sent to the management for approval, and paid bookings are posted to the ledger as charges.
