Accrual (posting charges) (Tahakkuk)

Also known as: charge, billing, debiting, borçlandırma

Definition

Recording a debt with its amount and due date; in Turkish property management, posting dues and other expenses to the units as debts.

In accounting, accrual means recording a debt at the moment it arises, regardless of when the payment will be made. In site and apartment management, posting the monthly dues to the units as debts, or distributing fuel or supplementary budget shares, are each accruals.

A correct accrual includes the item's name, amount, period, due date, and which independent unit it was distributed to and on what basis. When accruals and collections are kept separate, it is clear who owes how much and from which date late payment runs.

In CasaX

In CasaX, a charge is prepared as a draft, each unit's share is previewed, and it is published upon approval. Dues, fuel, fixed assets, water and supplementary budget are separate items; you can include or exclude vacant units and, with the payer rule, post the debt to the owner or the tenant.
