Management and assembly

Resolution book (Karar defteri)

Definition

The book in which owners' assembly decisions are recorded, with pages certified by a notary and signed by those attending the meeting.

Assembly decisions are written in the resolution book in date order and signed by the unit owners attending the meeting. Having those who vote against record their views in the book is important in any later objection.

The resolution book is the management's most important legal record: in disputes, whether a decision was taken, by what majority and who attended are proven with this book. When the manager changes, the book is handed over to the new manager with a signed record.
