Main property (Anagayrimenkul)

Definition
Under Turkish condominium law, the whole property under condominium ownership: the land, the building, independent units, annexes and common areas together.
Anagayrimenkul (main immovable property), as the law calls it, refers to an apartment building, or a building within a complex, in its entirety together with its land. The independent units are parts of this whole; the common areas belong to all unit owners.
The owners' assembly, the manager and the management plan are established for a main property. Developments in which more than one main property is brought under a single management are called collective building complexes (toplu yapı).
