IBAN
Also known as: account number, bank account number
Definition
A number identifying a bank account according to an international standard; in Turkey it starts with TR and consists of 26 characters.
The IBAN (International Bank Account Number) combines the country code, check digits, bank code and account number into a single string. Thanks to the check digits, a mistyped IBAN is usually caught before the transfer is sent.
In site management, the IBAN matters in two directions: residents are given the IBAN of the management account they should pay into, and the sender IBAN on incoming transfers helps identify which unit a payment belongs to. Having the account opened in the name of the site management is important for transparency.
In CasaX
In CasaX, you decide which IBANs are shown to residents; a sender IBAN rule is learned from the matches you approve, and later transfers are matched automatically.
